Piedmont Arts Fund
The need for parent support is critical for the Arts. Especially during this difficult time, students need to express themselves and process the world around them - painting or drawing, music, and other forms of creative expression are more important than ever. Access to the arts and high quality arts instruction is paramount whether students are engaged in distance or in-person learning. At the elementary level, students receive art every week and start with music programming in Kindergarten. In middle school, students dive deeper with electives such as visual art, ceramics, film, music, and theater. As students advance to high school, they are offered courses in 2D, 3D, and AP Art, photography, ceramics, theater, band, and dance. Without your advocacy and support, the depth and breadth of art offerings in our schools would be impossible to maintain.
