Please give generously as your donations support PADC’s efforts to create an inclusive Piedmont community for all through education, activism, and connection. Our work includes awarding grants to elementary, middle, and high school programs that advance equity, diversity, and inclusion. PADC funds also subsidize educational opportunities open to all that support a deeper understanding of our shared humanity and the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration.
Past donations have been used to fund the following school initiatives:
- Black Student Union
- PHS/MHS Wellness Center
- “Restorative Justice Training”, a Student Leadership workshop
- “Unity in Community”, K-12 student led festival
- Library Collection: increase availability of Social Justice and Gender Identity books
- Library Collection: increase availability of Spanish language books
- “We are Piedmont”, a PHS AP Art & Photography Project
- PHS Diversity Mural
- PMS Tolerance Mural by Safe Space Club
- “Building an Inclusive Piedmont”, a Let’s Talk workshop
- “The Beloved Community”, an art and essay showcase open to all students
- Multicultural elementary school projects to celebrate Chinese and Mexican heritage
