Piedmont Arts Fund
The need for parent support is critical for the Arts programming in our schools. Students need to learn to express themselves and process the world around them by engaging in their creativity - painting or drawing, music, and other forms of creative expression are key to building problem solving skills and practicing teamwork. The Piedmont Arts Fund advocates for visual and performing arts curriculum at all levels and engages the larger community in fun events such as the Piedmont Art Walk, the Community Art Quilt, and Piedmont's Got Talent Production.
Your donations help provide the following:
Elementary school students receive art every week and start with music programming in Kindergarten. In middle school, students dive deeper with electives such as visual art, ceramics, film, music, and theater. As students advance to high school, they are offered courses in 2D, 3D, and AP Art, photography, ceramics, theater, band, and dance. Without your advocacy and support, the depth and breadth of art offerings in our schools would be impossible to maintain.
