An Evening with Kate Schatz

An Evening with Kate Schatz

Tuesday, March 31st
7-8:30 PM
Ellen Driscoll Playhouse

Please join us for an engaging Q&A session with New York Times bestselling author, activist, and educator Kate Schatz (pronounced 'Shots').

Kate Schatz is a Bay Area-based writer best known for creating the beloved "Rad Women" book series and for co-authoring the anti-racist workbook "Do the Work!" with comedian W. Kamau Bell. Her work spans literature, education, and activism - and that is precisely what we hope this evening will illuminate. Through this Q&A, we want our community to engage with Kate's story, listen to her perspective, and come to understand that making a difference in the world can look like writing a book, telling a story, or educating others.

Copies of the "Rad Women" book series and "Do the Work!" will be available for purchase at the event.
