About the Havens Dads Club (HDC)
The Havens Dads Club (HDC) is a volunteer, fundraising, and social group dedicated to building community and supporting Havens Elementary. As part of the Havens Parents Club (HPC), HDC offers dads and father figures a meaningful way to get involved in school life—whether by pitching in on campus projects, planning events, or simply showing up to connect with others in the community.

Our signature event is the Annual HDC Poker Night—a fun, high-energy fundraiser that brings together the school community and raises significant support for Havens programs. But that's just one of many things we do. Throughout the year, we host casual happy hours, member meetups, and social gatherings, often at members’ homes or local spots around town. It’s a great way to meet other Havens dads, trade stories, and brainstorm new ways to contribute to our school.

While most of our members are Havens dads, we welcome anyone interested in supporting our mission. And of course, HDC is just one of many ways to get involved at Havens—there are plenty of other committees and groups within HPC doing amazing work.
